课程内容简介:
Computational Mechanics is the development and application of numerical methods and digital computers to the solution of problems posed by engineering and applied science with the objectives of understanding and harnessing the muti-physics problems. With the Computational Mechanics course, XJTU students gain a general knowledge of the theory of computational mechanics, including the strengths and weaknesses of the approach, appreciate the worth of undertaking a computational simulation by working on group projects, and be provided with training in the development of new software ABAQUS for the improved simulation of current engineering problems. The contents of the course:
Chapter 1. FEM General Methodology
In this part, we remember the basics of the Finite Element Method and introduce the background of numerical simulation using new software and standard flowchart of a finite element code.
Chapter 2‐ Formulation of Constitutive Material and Contact-friction
The primary focus of this chapter is on the analysis of the Continuum response of materials: linear and finite deformation elasticity, inelasticity and damage, and Contact-friction interaction between bodies (deformable and rigid).
Chapter 3 - Numerical Formulation and Algorithms
Numerical formulation and algorithms are presented in this chapter include: variational formulation, finite element discretization, error estimation, constrained problems, time integration algorithms and convergence analysis.
Chapter 4 – Meshing and Adaptation in Nonlinear Problems
The primary focus of this chapter is on the teaching of state-of-the-art of the meshing techniques and adaptation in finite element simulation of various nonlinear problems.
Chapter 5 - Multi-physics Problem
In this part, we will review the future researchers the Multi-physics problems (mechanic, temperature, electromagnetic,) strategies using numerical method and application to industrial problems.
Chapter 6 - Computer Applications in Engineering and projects
In this part, some application to real engineering applications and problems in engineering science is stressed throughout the course using a commercial Non-linear Finite Element code ABAQUS will be proposed.
