Abstract
Fault diagnosis and prognostics of railway vehicles are increasingly concerned in UK and China. In both countries, railway transportation systems have achieved exciting achievements around the world. The critical components of railway vehicles, such as wheelset bearings, pantograph, and bogies, are significant for the service of train vehicles. To ensure the safe running of railway vehicles, machine learning theory has presented a powerful ability, especially fueled by deep learning recently. This workshop is organized by Xi’an Jiaotong University and the University of Birmingham and is sponsored by NSFC-RS International Exchanges Scheme (51911530198, IEC\NSFC\181374). The event will discuss and exchange information and knowledge of XJTU and UoB in areas of intelligent fault diagnosis and prognostics of railway vehicles. Besides, it is also open to other researchers who are interested in the relevant topics. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this workshop will be held online (virtual conference).
