Two-years studying experience at Arts et Metiers (ENSAM) as a visiting Ph.D. student
Abstract: The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is an institution aiming to improve the training of creative and distinguished postgraduates and enhance the development of China’s higher education. In the past two years, Mr. Xiang XU was sponsored by CSC to perform his research work as a visiting Ph.D. student supervised by Prof. Jose Outeiro at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Arts et Metiers ParisTech, France. His research interests mainly focus on experimental and numerical investigation of microstructure evolution and surface integrity during high speed cutting Ti6Al4V titanium. Mr. Xiang XU will give a brief introduction of machining technology and material processing (LaBoMaP) laboratory and Prof. Outeiro’s group. Besides that, his research and living experience will be shared in this presentation during the past two years in France.
