会议名称:The ASME 2017 Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC2017)
会议时间:4-8 June 2017
会议地点:University of Southern California,Los Angeles,USA
会议简介:The purpose of the meeting is to join us for the 45th SME North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC), the Manufacturing Engineering Division (MED) of ASME’s 12th Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC2017), and the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) International Conference on Materials Processing (ICM&P 2017) to be held at the campus of the Southern California in Los Angeles, California. This conference is the premier international forum for applied research and industrial applications in manufacturing and design. The 2017 conference schedule will include keynote and technical presentations, expert panels, student poster presentations, an exhibition of industry partners, an early career forum, an awards banquet, luncheons and more. This conference will highlight cutting edge manufacturing research in technical paper, technical presentation, poster, and panel sessions.

Title: Numerical simulations and experiments research into laser re-melted thermal barrier coatings coated single crystal superalloy assisted with preheating

Abstract: In this study, compared with directly laser re-melting, a novel method was adopted to re-melt thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) coated with single crystal superalloy. Prior to each re-melting process, samples were preheated to 300 ºC, 600 ºC and 800 ºC respectively by an induction heater. After laser re-melting treatment, the thermal damage and recrystallization of nickel baser single crystal superalloy nearby the TBC/substrate were primary researched. Moreover, thermo hydrodynamics characteristics of molten pool have been developed to simulate the experimental process. Numerical simulations and experiments indicated that preheating can decrease the threshold laser energy and thus reduce the thermal damage of underlying substrate during laser re-melted thermal barrier coatings coated single crystal superalloy.
